Wilson Performance Athletics

     Wilson Performance Athletics is the culmination of my lifetime love of baseball and golf. The past 7 years Wilson Performance Golf and the Mid Florida Junior Golf Tour have helped many junior golfers achieve their goal of playing golf at the collegiate level. Using a holistic combination of golf learning, sports psychology and creating a professionally run, affordable and competitive environment we have been able to accelerate the growth of our players. The past few years, as I have watched my own son become a competitive travel baseball player it has become clear our young ballplayers could use some of the same advice and mentoring provided by the WPG and the MFJGT. Hence the creation of Wilson Performance Baseball. Unlike golf, I am not equipped with the baseball coaching knowledge to assist advanced players take those next steps towards improving their games to play at the next level. Wilson Performance Baseball will provide players the opportunity to get their current skills evaluated through scouting based on metrics (running speed, throwing speed, pitch speed, bat speed, etc) experience a "Showcase" type combine gathering these metrics, become exposed to our network of professional coaches who will take the players metrics and create a game plan to help improve those numbers and lastly get college recruiting assistance through our partnership with NCSA. All of this done for very, very affordable rates! No players or families will be turned away for financial reasons!
